Η 15η Ιουνίου είναι η επέτειος του θανάτου του μεγάλου συνθέτη Μάνου Χατζηδάκι. ΄Εφυγε σαν σήμερα στις 15 Ιουνίου 1994. Το κορυφαίο λάθος ζωής και καριέρας του Μάνου Χατζηδάκι ήταν ότι επέστρεψε στην Ελλάδα (εγκαταλείποντας τη Νεα Yόρκη) όπου τον "περίμεναν" οι εκτοξευτήρες λάσπης του ..."ελληναριού" του ΠΑΣΟΚ, ο οχετός του Κουρή και της "Αυριανής", και οι ατάλαντοι "κρατικοδίαιτοι" και "κομματικοδίαιτοι" συνθέτες της "συμφοράς' και της "σφαλιάρας" που "κυριάρχησαν" μεταπολιτευτικά στα ΜΜΕ. Παρακάτω παρατίθεται το προφητικό κείμενο του κορυφαίου ΄Ελληνα συνθέτη για την άνοδο του νεοναζισμού και των "...κλούβιων αυγών" της "Χρυσής...Δύσης" της δημοκρατίας.
«Ο νεοναζισμός, ο φασισμός, ο ρατσισμός και κάθε αντικοινωνικό και αντιανθρώπινο φαινόμενο συμπεριφοράς δεν προέρχεται από ιδεολογία, δεν περιέχει ιδεολογία, δεν συνθέτει ιδεολογία. Είναι η μεγεθυμένη έκφραση-εκδήλωση του κτήνους που περιέχουμε μέσα μας χωρίς εμπόδιο στην ανάπτυξή του, όταν κοινωνικές ή πολιτικές συγκυρίες συντελούν, βοηθούν, ενυσχύουν τη βάρβαρη και αντιανθρώπινη παρουσία του.
Η μόνη αντιβίωση για την καταπολέμηση του κτήνους που περιέχουμε είναι η Παιδεία. Η αληθινή παιδεία και όχι η ανεύθυνη εκπαίδευση και η πληροφορία χωρίς κρίση και χωρίς ανήσυχη αμφισβητούμενη συμπερασματολογία. Αυτή η παιδεία που δεν εφησυχάζει ούτε δημιουργεί αυταρέσκεια στον σπουδάζοντα, αλλά πολλαπλασιάζει τα ερωτήματα και την ανασφάλεια. Όμως μια τέτοια παιδεία δεν ευνοείται από τις πολιτικές παρατάξεις και από όλες τις κυβερνήσεις, διότι κατασκευάζει ελεύθερους και ανυπότακτους πολίτες μη χρήσιμους για το ευτελές παιχνίδι των κομμάτων και της πολιτικής. Κι αποτελεί πολιτική «παράδοση» η πεποίθηση πως τα κτήνη, με κατάλληλη τακτική και αντιμετώπιση, καθοδηγούνται, τιθασεύονται.
Ενώ τα πουλιά... Για τα πουλιά, μόνον οι δολοφόνοι, οι άθλιοι κυνηγοί αρμόζουν, με τις «ευγενικές παντός έθνους παραδόσεις». Κι είναι φορές που το κτήνος πολλαπλασιαζόμενο κάτω από συγκυρίες και με τη μορφή «λαϊκών αιτημάτων και διεκδικήσεων» σχηματίζει φαινόμενα λοιμώδους νόσου που προσβάλλει μεγάλες ανθρώπινες μάζες και επιβάλλει θανατηφόρες επιδημίες.
Πρόσφατη περίπτωση ο Β΄ Παγκόσμιος Πόλεμος. Μόνο που ο πόλεμος αυτός μας δημιούργησε για ένα διάστημα μιαν αρκετά μεγάλη πλάνη, μιαν ψευδαίσθηση. Πιστέψαμε όλοι μας πως σ' αυτό τον πόλεμο η Δημοκρατία πολέμησε το φασισμό και τον νίκησε. Σκεφθείτε: η «Δημοκρατία», εμείς με τον Μεταξά κυβερνήτη και σύμμαχο τον Στάλιν, πολεμήσαμε το ναζισμό, σαν ιδεολογία άσχετη από μας τους ίδιους. Και τον... νικήσαμε. Τι ουτοπία και τι θράσος. Αγνοώντας πως απαλλασσόμενοι από την ευθύνη του κτηνώδους μέρους του εαυτού μας και τοποθετώντας το σε μια άλλη εθνότητα υποταγμένη ολοκληρωτικά σ' αυτό, δεν νικούσαμε κανένα φασισμό αλλά απλώς μιαν άλλη εθνότητα επικίνδυνη που επιθυμούσε να μας υποτάξει.
Ένας πόλεμος σαν τόσους άλλους από επικίνδυνους ανόητους σε άλλους ανόητους, περιστασιακά ακίνδυνους. Και φυσικά όλα τα περί «Ελευθερίας», «Δημοκρατίας», και «λίκνων πνευματικών και μη», για τις απαίδευτες στήλες των εφημερίδων και τους αφελείς αναγνώστες. Ποτέ δεν θα νικήσει η Ελευθερία, αφού τη στηρίζουν και τη μεταφέρουν άνθρωποι, που εννοούν να μεταβιβάζουν τις δικές τους ευθύνες στους άλλους.
(Κάτι σαν την ηθική των γερόντων χριστιανών. Το καλό και το κακό έξω από μας. Στον Χριστό και τον διάβολο. Κι ένας Θεός που συγχωρεί τις αδυναμίες μας εφόσον κι όταν τον θυμηθούμε μες στην ανευθυνότητα του βίου μας. Επιδιώκοντας πάντα να εξασφαλίσουμε τη μετά θάνατον εξακολουθητική παρουσία μας. Αδυνατώντας να συλλάβουμε την έννοια της απουσίας μας. Το ότι μπορεί να υπάρχει ο κόσμος δίχως εμάς και δίχως τον Καντιώτη τον Φλωρίνης).
Δεν θέλω να επεκταθώ. Φοβάμαι πως δεν έχω τα εφόδια για μια θεωρητική ανάπτυξη, ούτε την κατάλληλη γλώσσα για τις απαιτήσεις του όλου θέματος. Όμως το θέμα με καίει. Ο νεοναζισμός δεν είναι οι άλλοι. Οι μισητοί δολοφόνοι, που βρίσκουν όμως κατανόηση από τις διωκτικές αρχές λόγω μιας περίεργης αλλά όχι και ανεξήγητης συγγενικής ομοιότητος. Που τους έχουν συνηθίσει οι αρχές και οι κυβερνήσεις σαν μια πολιτική προέκτασή τους ή σαν μια επιτρεπτή αντίθεση, δίχως ιδιαίτερη σημασία που να προκαλεί ανησυχία. (Τελευταία διάβασα πως στην Πάτρα, απέναντι στο αστυνομικό τμήμα άνοιξε τα γραφεία του ένα νεοναζιστικό κόμμα. Καμιά ανησυχία ούτε για τους φασίστες, ούτε για τους αστυνομικούς. Ούτε φυσικά για τους περιοίκους).
Ο εθνικισμός είναι κι αυτός νεοναζισμός. Τα κουρεμένα κεφάλια των στρατιωτών, έστω και παρά τη θέλησή τους, ευνοούν την έξοδο της σκέψης και της κρίσης, ώστε να υποτάσσονται και να γίνονται κατάλληλοι για την αποδοχή διαταγών και κατευθύνσεων προς κάποιο θάνατο. Δικόν τους ή των άλλων. Η εμπειρία μου διδάσκει πως η αληθινή σκέψη, ο προβληματισμός οφείλει κάπου να σταματά. Δεν συμφέρει. Γι' αυτό και σταματώ. Ο ερασιτεχνισμός μου στην επικέντρωση κι ανάπτυξη του θέματος κινδυνεύει να γίνει ευάλωτος από τους εχθρούς. Όμως οφείλω να διακηρύξω το πάθος μου για μια πραγματική κι απρόσκοπτη ανθρώπινη ελευθερία.
Ο φασισμός στις μέρες μας φανερώνεται με δυο μορφές. Ή προκλητικός, με το πρόσχημα αντιδράσεως σε πολιτικά ή κοινωνικά γεγονότα που δεν ευνοούν την περίπτωσή τους ή παθητικός μες στον οποίο κυριαρχεί ο φόβος για ό,τι συμβαίνει γύρω μας. Ανοχή και παθητικότητα λοιπόν. Κι έτσι εδραιώνεται η πρόκληση. Με την ανοχή των πολλών. Προτιμότερο αργός και σιωπηλός θάνατος από την αντίδραση του ζωντανού και ευαίσθητου οργανισμού που περιέχουμε.
Το φάντασμα του κτήνους παρουσιάζεται ιδιαιτέρως έντονα στους νέους. Εκεί επιδρά και το marketing. Η επιρροή από τα ΜΜΕ ενός τρόπου ζωής που ευνοεί το εμπόριο. Κι όπως η εμπορία ναρκωτικών ευνοεί τη διάδοσή τους στους νέους, έτσι και η μουσική, οι ιδέες, ο χορός και όσα σχετίζονται με τον τρόπο ζωής τους έχουν δημιουργήσει βιομηχανία και τεράστια κι αφάνταστα οικονομικά ενδιαφέρονται.
Και μη βρίσκοντας αντίσταση από μια στέρεη παιδεία όλα αυτά δημιουργούν ένα κατάλληλο έδαφος για να ανθίσει ο εγωκεντρισμός η εγωπάθεια, η κενότητα και φυσικά κάθε κτηνώδες ένστιχτο στο εσωτερικό τους. Προσέξτε το χορό τους με τις ομοιόμορφες στρατιωτικές κινήσεις, μακρά από κάθε διάθεση επαφής και επικοινωνίας. Το τραγούδι τους με τις συνθηματικές επαναλαμβανόμενες λέξεις, η απουσία του βιβλίου και της σκέψης από τη συμπεριφορά τους και ο στόχος για μια άνετη σταδιοδρομία κέρδους και εύκολης επιτυχίας.
Βιώνουμε μέρα με τη μέρα περισσότερο το τμήμα του εαυτού μας – που ή φοβάται ή δεν σκέφτεται, επιδιώκοντας όσο γίνεται περισσότερα οφέλη. Ώσπου να βρεθεί ο κατάλληλος «αρχηγός» που θα ηγηθεί αυτό το κατάπτυστο περιεχόμενό μας. Και τότε θα 'ναι αργά για ν' αντιδράσουμε. Ο νεοναζισμός είμαστε εσείς κι εμείς – όπως στη γνωστή παράσταση του Πιραντέλο. Είμαστε εσείς, εμείς και τα παιδιά μας. Δεχόμαστε να 'μαστε απάνθρωποι μπρος στους φορείς του AIDS, από άγνοια αλλά και τόσο «ανθρώπινοι» και συγκαταβατικοί μπροστά στα ανθρωποειδή ερπετά του φασισμού, πάλι από άγνοια, αλλά κι από φόβο κι από συνήθεια.
Και το Κακό ελλοχεύει χωρίς προφύλαξη, χωρίς ντροπή. Ο νεοναζισμός δεν είναι θεωρία, σκέψη και αναρχία. Είναι μια παράσταση. Εσείς κι εμείς. Και πρωταγωνιστεί ο Θάνατος».

PURE CATASTROPHY FOR SPAIN
MADRID -- Spain's key borrowing rate hit a fresh high Thursday not seen since the country joined the euro in 1999, after a credit ratings agency downgraded the country's ability to just above junk status amid rising fears a bank bailout may not be enough to save the country from economic chaos.

As you study history, you find that millions of people have been killed because of religious divisions based on false orthodoxy not genuine spirituality.
After 95 years on this planet, I have come to the conclusion that the human spirit can never be crushed, no matter how cruel the oppressor or fanatic the belief. If we remember that simple truth--and act on it every day in small ways and sometimes in large movements--then freedom will ultimately win.

17 IOYNIOY: H TEΛΕΥΤΑΙΑ ΕΛΠΙΔΑ ΤΗΣ ΕΛΛΑΔΑΣ ΝΑ "ΣΠΑΣΕΙ" ΤΑ ΔΕΣΜΑ ΤΗΣ ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΚΗΣ ΚΑΤΟΧΗΣ!
(...) Ο Σύριζα είτε συμφωνούμε είτε όχι με τις θέσεις του, αυτήν την στιγμή εκφράζει την αντίσταση ενός λαού στις δυνάμεις κατοχής. Δεν είναι δυνατόν από το 4% να φλερτάρει με το 32% φεύγα, επειδή ξαφνικά όλοι εμείς καταλάβαμε ότι αυτά πού τόσον καιρό έλεγε το συγκεκριμένο κόμμα ήταν ορθά. Η εκτίναξη του Σύριζα οφείλεται ΑΠΟΚΛΕΙΣΤΙΚΑ στο γεγονός ότι λέει ΟΧΙ στο ξεπούλημα και την υποταγή ενός λαού καθώς και στην λαϊκή απαίτηση για την παραδειγματική τιμωρία όσων μας οδήγησαν ως εδώ. Υπάρχουν πολλά με τα οποία δεν συμφωνώ, όπως και η πλειοψηφία αυτών πού θα ψηφίσουν Σύριζα. Θέλω όμως να πιστεύω ότι ιεραρχώ σωστά. ΠΡΩΤΑ ΘΑ ΣΩΘΟΥΜΕ ΚΑΙ ΜΕΤΑ ΘΑ ΑΛΛΑΞΟΥΜΕ. Πρώτα θα διώξουμε τους κατακτητές και τούς εδώ υποτακτικούς τους και μετά θα λύσουμε τα κακώς κείμενα της χώρας μας (άκρατος συνδικαλισμός, κομματικοποίηση των πάντων, διεφθαρμένο δημόσιο) τα οποία θρασύτατα και χωρίς καμία αιδώ μάς τα παρουσιάζουν ως τις αιτίες της κρίσεως. Σε επόμενο άρθρο μας θα αναλύσουμε ότι είναι τελείως διαφορετικό πράγμα τα κακώς κείμενα της χώρας μας και τελείως διαφορετικό οι αιτίες της κρίσεως πού τόσο πολύ βολεύει τα καθεστωτικά ΜΜΕ να τα παρουσιάζουν ως ένα και το αυτό.
Έτσι για παράδειγμα πρώτα θα σωθούμε και μετά θα αντιμετωπίσουμε το τεράστιο πρόβλημα που λέγεται μεταναστευτικό. Κατηγορείται ο Σύριζα από τα τέως μεγάλα κόμματα για τις θέσεις του για το μεταναστευτικό. Ποιός όμως έφερε όλους τους μετανάστες στην Ελλάδα; Ποιός έλεγε ότι καλωσορίζουμε τους μετανάστες στην χώρα μας και περιμένουμε με χαρά και άλλους; Ποιος ψήφισε το νόμο για την απόδοση ελληνικής ιθαγενείας στους μετανάστες; Ο Σύριζα;
Με τον ίδιο τρόπο πού μας κατέστρεψαν οικονομικά όλα αυτά τα χρόνια και τώρα μας τρομοκρατούν ότι αν δεν τους ψηφίσουμε δεν θα μας σώσουν!!! έτσι και με τους μετανάστες αφού αυτοί επέτρεψαν την αθρόα εισαγωγή τους, τώρα μας καλούν να τους ψηφίσουμε για να μας απαλλάξουν από αυτούς!!! Όχι μόνο δεν έχουν σκοπό να διώξουν τους παρανόμους μετανάστες, αντιθέτως έχουν ξεκινήσει ήδη να σχεδιάζουν Ελεύθερες Οικονομικές Ζώνες (ΕΟΖ) όπου για ένα κομμάτι ψωμί τόσο οι μετανάστες όσο και οι Έλληνες θα εργάζονται για να ανέβει επιτέλους ο ανταγωνισμός της ελληνικής οικονομίας!!!
Ομοίως κατηγορούν τον Σύριζα για ανθελληνική πολιτική στα ζητήματα της εξωτερικής πολιτικής. Ποιοί; Οι υπαίτιοι των Ιμίων; Αυτοί πού έχουν αφήσει την Θράκη να γίνει ένα νέο Κόσσοβο; Αυτοί πού τόσα χρόνια δεν τόλμησαν να επεκτείνουν τα χωρικά μας ύδατα από τα 6 στα 12 μίλια; Αυτοί πού ξαφνικά ανακάλυψαν την ΑΟΖ; Έχουν και το θράσος οι δωσίλογοι να παρουσιάζονται ως πατριώτες! (....)

1. Debt, division and revolt. Here's the 6th Century BC news from Athens.
In the early 6th Century BC, the people of Athens were burdened with debt, social division and inequality, with poor farmers prepared to sell themselves into slavery just to feed their families.
Revolution was imminent, but the aristocrat Solon emerged as a just mediator between the interests of rich and poor. He abolished debt bondage, limited land ownership, and divided the citizen body into classes with different levels of wealth and corresponding financial obligations.
His measures, although attacked on all sides, were adopted and paved the way for the eventual creation of democracy.
Solon's success demonstrates that great statesmen must have the courage to implement unpopular compromises for the sake of justice and stability.
2. What happens next? The Delphic oracle
Ancient Delphi was the site of Apollo's oracle, believed to be inspired by the god to utter truths. Her utterances, however, were unintelligible and needed to be interpreted by priests, who generally turned them into ambiguous prophecies.
How would the gods on Mount Olympus tackle the IMF and the bond markets?
In response to, say, "Should Greece leave the euro?" the oracle might have responded: "Greece should abandon the euro if the euro has abandoned Greece," leaving proponents and opponents of "Grexit" to squabble over what exactly that meant. It must have been something like listening to modern economists. At least the oracle had the excuse of inhaling the smoke of laurel leaves.
Wiser advice was to be found in the mottos inscribed on the face of Apollo's temple at Delphi, advocating moderation and self-knowledge: "Know yourself. Nothing in excess."
3. Nothing new under the sun: The sage Pythagoras
If modern Greeks feel overwhelmed by today's financial problems, they might take some comfort from remembering the world-weary advice from their ancestor Pythagoras that "everything comes round again, so nothing is completely new".
Pythagoras of Samos was a 6th Century BC mystic sage who believed that numbers are behind everything in the universe - and that cosmic events recur identically over a cycle of 10,800 years.
His doctrine was picked up by the biblical author of Ecclesiastes in the 3rd Century BC, whose phrase "There is nothing new under the sun" is repeated more than 20 times.

If you look at the picture at top of the story, the young man with a laptop on a Greek vase from 470 BC (in fact, a writing-tablet) seems to prove the proposition.
4. Mind you, it could be worse… Odysseus and endurance
"Hold fast, my heart, you have endured worse suffering," Odysseus exhorts himself in Homer's Odyssey, from the 8th Century BC.
Having battled hostile elements and frightful monsters on his return home across the sea from Troy to his beloved Ithaka and wife Penelope, Odysseus here prevents himself from jeopardising a successful finale as a result of impatience.
The stirring message is that whatever the circumstances, one should recognise that things could be, and have been, even worse. Harder challenges have been faced and - with due intelligence and fortitude - overcome.
5. Are you sure that's right? Socrates and tireless inquiry
"The unexamined life is not worth living for a human being," said Socrates.
By cross-examining ordinary people, the philosopher aimed to get to the heart of complex questions such as "What is justice?" and "How should we live?" Often no clear answer emerged, but Socrates insisted that we keep on asking the questions.

Fellow Athenians were so offended by his scrutiny of their political and moral convictions that they voted to execute him in 399 BC, and thereby made him an eternal martyr to free thought and moral inquiry.
Socrates bequeathed to humanity a duty to keep on thinking with tireless integrity, even when - or particularly when - definite answers are unlikely to be found.
6. How did those jokers end up in charge? Aristophanes the comedian
The most brilliantly inventive of comic playwrights, Aristophanes was happy to mock contemporary Athenian politicians of every stripe. He was also the first to coin a word for "innovation".
His comedy Frogs of 405 BC, which featured the first representation of aerial warfare, contained heartfelt and unambiguous advice for his politically fickle fellow citizens: choose good leaders, or you will be stuck with bad ones.
7. Should we do the same as last time? Heraclitus the thinker
"You can't step into the same river twice" is one of the statements of Heraclitus, in the early 5th Century BC - his point being that the ceaseless flow of the water makes for a different river each time you step into it.
Hippocrates: "Wishful thinking will not produce a cure"
A sharp pupil pointed out "in that case you can't step into the same river once", since if everything is constantly in flux, so is the identity of the individual stepping into the water.
While change is constant, different things change at different rates. In an environment of ceaseless flux, it is important to identify stable markers and to hold fast to them.
Bond markets, debt and bail-outs must feel like a similar challenge.
8. Tell me the worst, doctor. Hippocrates faces the facts
Western medicine goes back to Hippocrates, late 5th Century BC, and doctors still take the "Hippocratic oath". An extensive set of ancient medical observations details how patients fared when they were treated by means such as diet and exercise.
What is exceptional in ancient thinking about health and disease is the clear-sighted recognition that doctors must observe accurately and record truthfully - even when patients die in the process.
Magical or wishful thinking cannot bring a cure. Only honest, exhaustive, empirical observation can hope to reveal what works and what does not.
9. Seizing the opportunity: Cleisthenes and democracy
The ancient Greeks were strongly aware of the power of opportunity - in Greek, kairos. Seizing the moment - in oratory, athletics, or battle - was admired and viewed as an indication of skill.

In many cases, such temporary innovation, born of the moment, will be more enduring, especially if successive innovators build on its principles.
When the tyrants of Athens were deposed at the end of the 6th Century, the leading citizen Cleisthenes needed to think up a constitution that would cut across existing structures of power and allegiance.
He devised with amazing rapidity a system of elective government in which all the citizens (the Greek word "demos" means "the people") had a single vote - the world's first democracy.
10. Big problem, long bath: Archimedes the inventor
Asked to measure whether a crown was made of pure gold, the Sicilian Greek Archimedes (3rd Century BC) puzzled over a solution.
The story goes that when he eventually took a bath and saw the water rising as he stepped in, it struck him that an object's volume could be measured by the water it displaced - and when weighed, their relative density could be calculated.
He was so excited by his discovery that he jumped out of the bath and ran naked through Syracuse shouting "Eureka!" - Greek for "I've got it!"
Finding the solution to a knotty problem requires hard thinking, but the answer often comes only when you switch off - and take a bath.

NEW YORK, June 10 (Reuters) - Europe's plan to lend money to Spain to heal some of its banks may not work because the government and the country's lenders will in effect be propping each other up, Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz said.
"The system ... is the Spanish government bails out Spanish banks, and Spanish banks bail out the Spanish government," Stiglitz said in an interview.
The plan to lend Spain up to 100 billion euros ($125 billion), agreed on Saturday by euro zone finance ministers, was bigger than most estimates of the needs of Spanish banks that have been hit by the bursting of a real estate bubble, recession and mass unemployment.
If requested in full by Madrid, the bailout would add another 10 percent to Spain's debt-to-gross domestic product ratio, which was already expected to hit nearly 80 percent at the end of 2012, up from 68.5 at the end of 2011. That could make it harder and more expensive for the government to sell bonds to international investors.
With Spanish banks, including the Bank of Spain, the main buyers of new Spanish debt in 2011 - according to a report by the Spanish central bank - the risk is that the government may have to ask for help from the same institutions that it is now planning to help.
"It's voodoo economics," Stiglitz said in an interview on Friday, before the weekend deal to help Spain and its banks was sealed. "It is not going to work and it's not working."
Instead, Europe should speed up discussion of a common banking system, he said. "There is no way in which when an economy goes into a downturn it will be able to sustain policies that will restore growth without a form of European system."
Stiglitz, a former economic advisor to U.S. President Bill Clinton, is a long-standing critic of austerity packages. He also wrote book attacking the International Monetary Fund for policies it has imposed on developing countries as a precondition for emergency loans.
What the European Union has done so far has been minimal and wrong in its policy direction because austerity measures to restore risk have the effect of reducing growth and increasing debt, he said.
"Having firewalls when you're pouring kerosene on the fire is not going to work. You have to actually face the underlying problem, and that is, you're going to have to promote growth," Stiglitz said.
