YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE mood video

...Through the voices of these four women in the film, we begin to understand the complexity of the everyday challenges and the relationship issues they are facing (one out of eight women in USA is going to face the challenge of breast cancer). And hopefully, we can transform ourselves, alter our perspectives, and, ultimately, change our own complicated and distorted relationships and attitudes towards breast-cancer patients.

The mood, pace and overall tone of the film is unique since it is elevated far above the drama of the four leading female characters. They are searching for the light in the end of the tunnel. They remain optimistic and humorous even in the worst of circumstances and challenges they are facing. Life goes on and you have to rise above adversities and obstacles. You have to re-invent yourself.

A heartfelt screenplay about finding the courage to change and fall in love again after life (and others) had let you down...

"December Riots is important, timely, and hits it's mark. Acclaimed Greek-born filmmaker Dimitri Vorris has beautifully interwoven fact and fiction, to create a dramatic tale, that is both horrifying and thought-provoking".

Christopher Martini
Director-Producer "The Stone Child" , "Trooper"

«The film is neither a documentary, nor a re-enactment, it's a comment on violence regardless of the aggressor and the victim, and a comment on a decadent country that is collapsing ».

"...the film's director was trapped in a subterranean arthouse movie theater along with other filmgoers, Greek and foreigners. That incident became the inspiration for the feature film December Riots, a claustrophobic thriller using burned-down Athens as the background”.
