POLICE VIOLENCE OUTBREAK IN GREECE...JOURNALIST INJURED, PHOTOJOURNALIST IN CRITICAL CONDITION, AND 16 YEAR OLD BEATEN TO DEATH...

Marios Lolos, the president of the union of the Greek Photojournalists, was severly beaten to death by the riot police at Constitution Square (see picture), in Athens downtown. Still in critical condition he undergoes surgery. A young female journalist was also beaten. 


In Crete, two masked policemen in a police precinct, beat to death a 16 year-old, arrested for not carrying an id with him. The 16 year-old is in critical condition.
