...After a three year battle with cancer Adam Yauch, co-founder of Beastie Boys, better known as MCA died yesterday. He was 47. He also co-founded indie film and production company Oscilloscope Laboratories and helped distribute indie hits like "Exit Through the Gift Shop," "We Need to Talk About Kevin" and "Bellflower".
